It’s important that you take the time to read Easy Family Law’s terms and conditions thoroughly before you agree and sign up. You should know what you’re agreeing to.

Easy Family Law is a benefits program that offers advantages when you sign up on easyfamily.law. We provide assistance in updating your documents and inform you when you should consider creating new ones. Furthermore, we automatically send your documents to the appropriate people in case something happens to you.

This means that you and your relatives can feel safe in the event of significant changes in your life.

Conditions for Becoming a Member of Easy Family Law

You must be at least 18 years old to be a member of Easy Family Law. To become a member, you must provide your name, address, email, and mobile number. Your membership is personal and should not be used by anyone else.

If we discover that a person under 18 years old is a member of Easy Family Law, or another person is using your profile, we have the right to remove you as a member.

Member Benefits

As a member of Easy Family Law, you will enjoy a benefits program as long as you remain a member. The program currently consists of three exclusive advantages but will be updated regularly. Read more about the three benefits below:

Document Storage

All your purchased documents will be stored in our archive during your membership. This ensures that you don’t have to worry about saving the documents in the right places for future use. We guarantee that only authorized personnel have access to your data.

Forwarding Documents to Relatives

Unfortunately, the day will come when your documents will be needed. In such cases, we’ll ensure that your documents are shared with your selected relatives, saving them time during a difficult situation.

Updating Your Information

Life changes often require us to update various information. We make your life easier by automatically updating your information based on the Civil Registration System, ensuring that we always have the correct details about you. This means you won’t have to worry about updating your documents yourself.

Good Tips and Offers

By signing up for Easy Family Law, you consent to receiving tips, offers, surveys, events, etc., tailored to you. Data security is essential to us; therefore, all emails from Easy Family Law will come from an email address ending in @easyfamily.law.

Termination of Membership

There’s no contractual obligation, and you can cancel your membership at any time by emailing [email protected]. It may take up to 10 business days to remove your membership, but we aim to do it as quickly as possible. You will receive an email confirming the termination.

Data Protection (UK GDPR)

Easy Family Law ApS is responsible for the management of your personal data. When you sign up for Easy Family Law, you allow us to process your personal data for managing your membership and targeted marketing.

Your Rights

Deletion of Personal Data

We will delete your personal data when they are no longer necessary for the purpose they were collected for. If you haven’t used your Easy Family Law membership for 20 years, we reserve the right to delete your membership, including your profile.

You will be notified via email in advance if we intend to deactivate your membership, and you will have a chance to respond.

Access to Data

As a member of Easy Family Law, you can request access to the information we have about you, its origin, and its purpose.

Your Rights

Deletion of Personal Data in YourFamily

We will delete your personal data when they are no longer needed for the purpose for which they were collected, processed, and stored. This means that if you have not used your YourFamily membership for 20 years, we reserve the right to delete your membership, including your profile.

You will be notified in advance via email about our intent to deactivate your membership, and you will have the opportunity to respond if you do not want us to delete your data.

Insight

As a member of YourFamily, you can request to see what information we have processed about you, where it comes from, and what we use it for.

You can also find out how long we store your data and who receives data about you, to the extent that we disclose data in Denmark and abroad. Your data will be used exclusively for the purposes mentioned above. We will not share your data with our Partners unless it is relevant, or you ask us to do so, for example, during case processing. However, your data will be shared with the CPR registry for updating your information, as well as other strictly necessary registries to effectively manage your membership.

Correction and Objection

If you find that the data we have about you is inaccurate, you have the right to have it corrected. You can also object to the use of your data at any time. If you object to our use of your personal data, we are obligated to stop using it, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the continued use that overrides your interests, rights, and freedoms, or if the data is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

Data Portability

As a member of YourFamily, you have the right to request a copy of the personal data that we hold about you in a commonly used, machine-readable format. This enables you to transfer your data to another service provider if you wish to do so.

Consent Withdrawal

If we process your data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before the withdrawal of your consent.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with the way we handle your personal data, you have the right to file a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency or any other relevant supervisory authority.

Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on our website and will be effective immediately upon publication. As a YourFamily member, you will be notified of significant changes by email. Your continued use of the services after the changes have been made implies that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
